Due to many librarians and media specialists frequently receive questions regarding Kansas history, resources used for in-depth research on Kansas history by students and library patrons will be in high demand. Libraries are in need of dedicated reference titles on the people, places and history of Kansas. The addition of our Kansas history resources will complement students' and library patrons' research. NABD LLC's collection of Kansas history publications have been considered the definitive reference works on the people, places and events in Kansas's state history. Minority studies are of special interest in schools. November is National Native American Heritage Month and our publication Encyclopedia of Kansas Indians will allow students and library patrons access to the definitive references on Native American History. Also, February is Black History Month and our publication Kansas Slave Narratives contains interviews with former slaves and provides students and library patrons with unique and important insights on slavery in America.
